ETS (Enterprise Transformation Service) is a multi-year IT transformation initiative that Delta Dental embarked on to migrate their IT environment from mainframe to a distributed open platform. ETS delivers self- service personalized portals for employer groups, dental providers, members and third party administrators with real time access to key back-office systems such as eligibility maintenance and claim processing.

Pragmatic Solution Delivered

The team from InSemble worked with multiple groups in the organization such as Application development group, Infrastructure group and IT executives to understand the challenges and expectations of each group and crafted a pragmatic plan that fit Delta's culture and timelines.

The team took leadership in capacity planning and performance tuning. InSemble was instrumental in establishing a baseline load test environment that enabled Delta Dental to guage the current state. InSemble leveraged ClearApp to guide the tuning of the infrastructure.

InSemble worked with the Technical Services group to define the enterprise monitoring strategy, worked with the operations group to define rules of engagement and worked with the Development group on redesign, trouble shooting and optimization exercises.

Overall, InSemble helped Delta Dental mitigate risks with Go Live and streamlined the production readiness activities. InSemble's commitment, expertise and pragmatic approach to solving issues made a significant impact in Delta's ETS Go Live.
